What started as a coffee chat became a complete rebrand and short film. I signed on Cannabis Amnesty to Cossette Inc. as a client for a brand refinement that turned into a complete relaunch for the brand. Cannabis Amnesty is an independent, not-for-profit organization dedicated to righting the wrongs caused by decades of cannabis criminalization in Canada.
We decided to tell a true Toronto story by showing how Canadians are affected by decades of cannabis criminalization's stronghold on employment. The film exposed the government’s failure to address the serious consequences of convictions for cannabis crimes that are widely accepted as unjust.
